English Sole

| English Soles are right-eyed fish, meaning their eyes are on the right side of their bodies. Soles can grow to about 22.5", and can live about 22 years. They stay in estuaries and bays for about a year, then will migrate to sea as they mature and grow. |
| How to Identify: You can identify an English Sole by ensuring that they eyes on are on the right side of the head. They are a light reddish brown, with a small almost pointed head. There is a small indentation where the eyes begin. |
