Project Discovery is specifically geared towards High School students who want to study marine biology field study techniques in depth. They will use scientific equipment to sample fish, invertebrates, plankton and water at various sites within the Bay aboard our research vessel, the R/V Robert G. Brownlee. The rest of the week is spent on a four-day overnight adventure to along the California coastline. Activities include tidepooling, beach surveys, and kayaking / canoeing. This is a great opportunity for students to get their hands in real science and have a great time doing it!
