The Marine Science Institute offers year-round passage to educational adventures across the Bay Area. Our family membership program is a way to enjoy the many natural wonders of our region, with dozens of well-organized activities and experienced instructors. Follow the sea breeze aboard our 90’ Research Vessel Robert G. Brownlee; search for treasures on guided low tide walks; feed and touch live sharks, and much more! MSI offers something valuable and unique - an enriching educational adventure that will create memories that last a lifetime.

 

This year and moving forward, MSI will offer a free family membership with enrollment into our Summer Marine Camp. Now it will be easier than ever to enjoy MSI's fun activities and expertise all year round. Our Summer Marine Camp builds up your children's appreciation and expertise in all corners of ocean science - our family membership takes these lessons even further - and the parents get to learn and play too!

 

Not attending Marine Science Camp this year? That’s fine, you can still join as a family, and for only $50 receive all the benefits of membership.
