Marine Science Camp

All Plankton Pioneers (K-1st), Underwater Investigators (6th-8th) and Project Discovery (9th-12th) camps are cancelled. Registrants can choose a full refund of your camp deposit and tuition, or be credited for a camp session in 2021.

We are still offering Ocean Explorers (2nd-5th), Wetland Explorers (2nd-5th) and Naturalists (4th-5th) camps with modifications to ensure the safety of participants and staff. All 2nd-5th grade camps are FULL for the summer. Please feel free to register for the waitlist at no cost. If a spot opens up we will contact you.

The COVID-19 situation is unfolding and changing often, and we will continue to listen to the medical and public health experts and governing bodies as we follow their health mandates. Our staff are working hard to create safe protocols that will be put in place to ensure that 2nd-5th grade camp participants and staff will be safe and protected. Please stay tuned for more information as our team coordinates the operational logistics and procedures.

Experience. Learn. Protect.

Summer is the time to explore and enjoy the outdoors! Marine Science Camp is a wonderful way for children to excite their curiosity and enthusiasm for learning about, and caring for, the environment. Whether they are getting introduced to marine science, or are diving into a subject that they are already passionate about, campers are inspired by interactions with live animals and taking part in science in action. This summer program engages budding biologists with creative, active and hands-on projects that keep their bodies and minds active. Lead by our experienced science instructors, campers discover local habitats and animals at our Redwood City site and through field trips across the Bay Area, including a day-long trip aboard our research vessel, the Robert G. Brownlee. Make science come alive this summer!
