Marine Science Camp

Camp cancellation policy:
At this point we expect to run Marine Science Camp as planned and the camp cancellation policy remains unchanged.
Our current policy states that “The $100 deposit + processing fees are non-refundable. Tuition minus the deposit is refundable for cancellations made two weeks prior to your camp's start date. MSI will fully refund fees if the session is cancelled.”
We are continuing to monitor and adopt the latest guidelines on health and safety, cleaning and preparedness from the CDC and San Mateo County Health. In the event that we must cancel a camp, we will communicate immediately with participating families.
Applications for Marine Science Camp Scholarships are now available. Visit the Marine Science Camp Scholarship page for more information. Note that the scholarship application process has been revised from previous years.

Summer Internships

Join the team!

Experience. Learn. Protect.

Summer is the time to explore and enjoy the outdoors! Marine Science Camp is a wonderful way for children to excite their curiosity and enthusiasm for learning about, and caring for, the environment. Whether they are getting introduced to marine science, or are diving into a subject that they are already passionate about, campers are inspired by interactions with live animals and taking part in science in action. This summer program engages budding biologists with creative, active and hands-on projects that keep their bodies and minds active. Lead by our experienced science instructors, campers discover local habitats and animals at our Redwood City site and through field trips across the Bay Area, including a day-long trip aboard our research vessel, the Robert G. Brownlee. Make science come alive this summer!
