About the event

Join us for an impactful day! Our event features two activities: a beach cleanup showcasing students' positive environmental impact, and an awe-inspiring aerial art project with hundreds participating. We're actively seeking volunteers (individual and corporate) to join. Capture the moment as a helicopter flies overhead! The Marine Science Institute connects children to their outdoor spaces, fostering environmental stewardship through programs like Adopt-A-Beach. Be part of this initiative, supported by a California Coastal Commission.

This is an exciting opportunity to assist in managing the students participating in Kids Ocean Day. As a volunteer, you will play a key role in overseeing the student groups, supporting trash clean-up efforts, and guiding the children into position for the aerial art display. Your day will begin at 8:30 AM and conclude around 1:00 PM. Thank you for your help!
