A week long learning adventure

Spring Break Marine Science Camp is a week long learning adventure, exploring Pacific Coast and San Francisco Bay marine habitats. This program includes an in depth investigation of local marine ecosystems to learn how similar animals from different habitats have unique adaptations to help them survive. Themes include local wetlands, Pacific Coast and oceanic habitats.

Children will spend the day touching live animals, using scientific research equipment, team building, and most importantly being safe but having fun. This camp includes four days on-site utilizing our outdoor teaching spaces, and one day aboard our 90' research vessel exploring the South San Francisco Bay.

Campers will need to pack snacks, lunch, and water bottle.

Extended care is is available. There is a minimum number of participants required for extended care to operate. If MSI cancels extended care due to low-enrollments families can be refunded the extended care amount OR pay an additional fee to run at low-enrollment. Minimum number of students required is 5 participants.
