How do I register?

 • Jan 30, 2026 (Fri) at 9:00 AM – Family Members
Registration opens to the community on Feb 3, 2026 (Tue) at 9:00 AM

Press any of the "REGISTER HERE" buttons on the Summer Marine Science Camp webpage to be taken to Amilia, a secure camp registration site. You will be required to login to your existing account or create a new one.
 
You will receive an automatic confirmation e-mail upon completion of your registration. Please review your confirmation to ensure it matches your selection and that you have registered for the correct session. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail soon after registration, it may mean that there was a transaction error and you are not registered. Please send an email to camp@sfbaymsi.org describing the issue as best you can. We will research the issue and contact you with next steps.

Question 2

What if the session is full?

Accepted Answer

If the session is full and you wish to be added to the waitlist, please continue with the normal registration process. There is no cost to join a waitlist, and no obligation to sign up once you’re on it. If a spot opens up for your child, you will be notified via the e-mail provided in your registration account and given an opportunity to accept the spot. Payment will be due at the time of acceptance. If you do not accept the open spot then you will be removed from the waitlist and the spot will be available to the next family on the waitlist.

Will you add more spots in camp?

No, we cannot add more spots in camp. We are offering as many spots as we can given the capacity of our facility and resources.

Question 4

What if my child misses a day?

Accepted Answer

Make up days cannot be accommodated. MSI operates at full capacity; staff to student ratio and group size restrictions will not be exceeded.

There are no refunds or fee reductions for days missed due to illness, absence, suspension or dismissal, or last-minute change of plans or vacations during camp sessions.

Question 5

Can I reserve a spot for my friend?

Accepted Answer

Legal guardian(s) must register their camper(s). Registrations or camp spots are not transferrable to other families. 
All spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis for registration and the waitlist.
