This "afterschool" educational program is designed to foster the natural curiosity of young minds. Students learn about local habitats around the San Francisco Bay while working in a team with their peers. Over the course of each 1-week session, students will use real scientific equipment to catch animals and collect data in a fun and exciting way. The Marine Science Institute offers three sessions each with a unique theme. These sessions may be taken independently, or as part of a 3-week educational series.

" We were so glad to be able to get a place for my son at MSI camp. The loss of school and other kinds of social events has brought many kids, including mine, a sense of despair. Marine Science Institute helped give him a happy summer, despite the hardships of the pandemic. " ~ Marine Camp Explorer Mom
