Program Description: Development Volunteers work directly with our Advancement Director and Institutional Funding Manager to assist with daily administrative tasks to support MSI’s fundraising endeavors.

Volunteer Description: We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, responsible volunteer to perform various administrative and campaign-related tasks. These tasks include data entry, gift processing and acknowledgement (thank you letters), database management, prospect research, organizing and maintaining hard-copy and digital files, and other office duties. As we celebrate MSI’s 50th Anniversary, the Development Volunteer might assist with special event planning tasks as well.


Commitment: Minimum 3 hours a week (maximum 8 hours a week), long term commitment/ongoing


Requirements: Minimum age requirement is 18. The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and reliable transportation are both required. This role will include independent work and requires maturity, focus and initiative. Ability to learn quickly is essential. Experience with basic office skills such as, data entry, filing, copying, etc.
