This year, we set a goal to raise $20,000 by April 30 for our marine science programs through our Earth Day fundraising campaign.
Earth Day isn’t just one day of the year for the Marine Science Institute. It isn’t Earth Week or even Earth Month for us. Earth Day is every day. Every day, every week, every month of the year, the Marine Science Institute opens its doors to school children and to the public. However, this is the time of year when we join with the rest of the community in the great initiative to celebrate the planet.
We need your help to meet this $20,000 Earth Day goal. Your unrestricted gift to MSI lowers the cost-share for school classes to receive marine science education.
Give a One-Time Gift – Every donation we receive, no matter how large or small, will be put to work teaching marine science and the importance of environmental conservation to students in the Bay Area.
Give a Tribute Gift – Give a gift to MSI in honor of your loved one to celebrate Earth Day. Give a Tribute Gift of $25 or more, and we will promptly send a beautiful, personalized tribute card to you, or to the person or family you indicate, to notify them of your thoughtful donation.
Sponsor MSI Earth Day on the Bay 2017 – Sponsorship packages begin at $500 and include the opportunity to have your company table at our Earth Day event.
Ask Your Company to Match Your Donation – Many companies have an employee matching giving program. Does yours??? It’s possible that your gift to MSI could be doubled! Please ask your employer.
And, don’t forget, you can always designate your gift as a camp scholarship. You could provide one less-fortunate child the opportunity to experience the wonders of Marine Science Camp!
